The following partner are supporting me and my projects:
ARC8 is an innovative Swiss bike brand from Basel. Whether it’s a road bike, gravel bike, or anything from a race mountain bike to an enduro, ARC8 builds bikes that set new standards for riding enjoyment. After just a few meters on the Eero (gravel bike), I definitely didn’t want to give it away anymore, and even after several thousand kilometers – over Alpine passes and along rocky trails in Morocco – I’m still excited about the bike.
Enjoying sustainable meat from the Basel region? Thanks to Metzgerei Jenzer, this is possible. Extensive pasture-based husbandry and, more recently, on-site slaughtering at the Metzgerhuus in the Basel countryside – founded by Christoph and Raffael – ensure the highest quality while keeping production as ecological as possible.
Among my favorites are the Coq au vin pâté, which is made from laying-hen meat (meat that would otherwise not be used and discarded), as well as the butcher cuts. For hikes in the mountains, I like to take along chicken sticks, which are also made from laying-hen meat. Together with a piece of bread, they make a tasty dinner in the mountains or a great aperitif at home.
The Fleischwerkstatt in the heart of the village of Arlesheim – like the Metzgerhuus – is equipped with a large glass façade, allowing interested visitors to watch the butchering and processing of the meat.
For various photography projects, good camouflage is essential—on the one hand to disturb wildlife as little as possible, and on the other to enable the creation of special images. Thanks to the hides and accessories from Tragopan, even I can conceal myself well despite my height and, disguised as a bush, document intimate insights into the lives of wild animals. The Monal V2 is my hide of choice, as it offers enough space for two people during hours-long waits and can be set up quickly.
